My name is Joycelyn Kelly and I live in Whitby, Ontario, Canada. I am pleased to offer placenta encapsulation services to Mothers in the Durham Region and the Greater Toronto Area. I received my Certification and Placenta Encapsulation Training through PBi and I practice Traditional Chinese Medicine TCM method for encapsulation purposes. My education includes a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Educational Studies and Digital Technology, specializing in Adult Education from Ontario Tech University, and an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration Marketing from Centennial College. Also, I have earned certifications in Mental Health First Aid from Mental Health First Aid Canada, Smart Serve from Smart Serve Ontario, and I am a Certified Life Coach through the YWCA. Making a difference in my community is important to me and providing encapsulation services to new Mothers will empower postpartum women to be strong and maternal to their newborn babes.
I am a strong believer in the holistic, natural approaches to childbirth and postpartum recovery. When I found out that we were expecting our first child I had visions of a peaceful, wonderful birthing experience. We attended water birthing classes to prepare us for our home birth. It was at these classes that I learned about placenta encapsulation. At first, the thought of placenta encapsulation seemed outlandish. However, as I read and researched more about the topic, it only seemed natural and logical. My son was born drug free at home, delivered by two skilled midwives and my stoic husband. I had my placenta encapsulated the following day. I was motherly and full of joy.
This is an exciting movement to witness more Mothers choosing placenta encapsulation as an organic approach to compliment their birthing experience. I am delighted to be able to offer this service to you and I thank you for trusting me with your precious placenta.
Truly,
